MAYSA DAW
Maysa Daw is a Palestinian indie musician, singer-songwriter, rapper, and actress based in Haifa, whose fearless voice and genre-defying sound have established her as one of the most compelling artists working at the intersection of personal, collective, and political storytelling.
Blending hip-hop, soul, alternative rock, and Arabic influences, her work moves from introspective ballads to beat-driven protest anthems - raw, poetic, and uncompromising. She performs solo, as part of Maysa Daw X Jebus, and through landmark collaborative projects including DAM and Kallemi.
For Maysa, participation in politically engaged music is not optional: "Speaking up is not a choice. We are witnessing massacres, injustice, and oppression unfold in every part of the planet, and it should be every person's moral obligation to speak up - silence only benefits the oppressor." Her artistry is a bold, ongoing exploration of identity, resistance, and the belief that collective protest, in every form, leads inevitably toward collective liberation.
